Job Description: 
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the preparation and distribution of client billings and the subsequent collection and processing of receivables.

Generates invoices and payment reminders.
Carries out billing, collection and reporting activities. 
Performs reconciliations. 
Researches and resolves payment discrepancies. 
Receives and responds to customer inquiries. 
Updates accounting records and customer information. 
Files sales tax returns. 
All other duties as required.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
Excellent computer skills. 
Mathematical aptitude. 
Solid organizational skills. 
Follow-through and follow-up. 
Detail-oriented. 
Able to work independently.

1-2 Years of general accounting experience, preferably involving Accounts Receivable.
Certificate in accounting combined with qualified work experience. 
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, preferred 
Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Experience with accounting software, preferably SAGE 500

Successful candidates will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
