Purpose and scope:
The CDL driver is responsible for safely hauling company owned assets to and from various locations. This position will be responsible for hauling customer owned assets from time to time. The transport driver will be responsible for proper maintenance of the vehicle. This employee will ensure all paperwork and log books are filled out per DOT standards. Proper loading of all equipment and safe driving practices will be required at all times.
The employee will be part of a horizonal directional drilling crew installing underground fiber and other utilities. The employee may operate other heavy equipment for the process of construction, demolition, or excavation. The employee will also have the opportunity to train for other roles in this rapidly growing industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete vehicle Pre-Check as required
2. Cautiously navigate transport vehicle to and from various locations as required
3. Inspect company assets during pick-up and delivery
4. Ensure fuel is topped off in company assets
5. Fill out required drivers log books
6. Complete paperwork required by manager

7. Operate other heavy equipment as needed

Job Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Good basic physical condition and moderate strength to climb on/off and operate equipment.
- Ability to push/pull objects of 50+ lbs. without assistance
Skills / Other:
- Ability to operate equipment.
- MUST have a CDL license
