About the Job
A Digital Content Writer (B2B) works at the intersection of creative storytelling, content strategy and user experience. This role will Collaborate with our marketing team to brainstorm new content and bring it to life. Digital Content Writers focus on UX, social media, paid media, video, print, copy and live events. This may also be open to the possibility of SEO copy.  This position will be reporting to the VP of Marketing and primarily supporting our Infrastructure & Telecom team (Motive Infrastructure Solutions).
  • Write insight-driven, strategic web content & online marketing copy for B2B audiences
  • Work with clients to create tone of voice guidelines and content governance
  • Audit the quality and performance of existing client content 
  • Analyze data to develop actionable content insights and strategic recommendations
  • Perform keyword research to inform search engine optimization
  • Develop information architecture and user paths for websites, digital programs, and campaigns
  • Interview clients and subject matter experts to gain content insights and source material
  • Develop calendars for content marketing and social media programs
  • Present content plans and content marketing services to new and prospective clients
  • Advocate for best practices in content, search engine optimization and user experience across multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist in formalizing company standards and procedures for digital content writing
  • Help keep up to date on the latest trends in UX writing, content marketing, search engine optimization and information architecture
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to build wireframes for digital content
  • May need to manage contractors if needed 
  • All other responsibilities as assigned
  • A portfolio of digital content work, including short- and long-form web copy, video, and social media, blogs, use cases, case studies.  
  • PR is not required but a plus
  • GA4 Google Analytics a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills
  • Ability to articulate and communicate brand tone, voice, and messaging
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite, MS Office Suite, including Excel
  • Degree in communications, writing, marketing, advertising, PR, English, journalism, or related field
  • Experience with SEO copywriting and keyword planning
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO tools
  • Experience with content marketing and automation programs, as well as content management systems
  • 2-5 years of experience writing for brands, advertising, PR, marketing, blogs and/or social media programs; agency experience preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in Telecom a plus
