Purpose and Scope:
To follow the instructions that have been assigned by the Civil Foreman to ensure that quality work is completed in a timely manner. Construction Laborer is an essential member of our directional drilling crew. You will support the directional drilling crew by assisting with the installation of underground utilities, including water lines and telecommunication lines & equipment. Also, gathering materials needed to complete daily work at the job site and promoting a safe work environment. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • The ability to work with a crew in a safe and productive manner is essential.
  • Assist with all jobsite needs (digging holes, restoring the jobsite, being a spotter, fusion pipes, pulling conduit, or any other task required on site).
  • Lift heavy equipment for installation, when needed.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned by the Supervisor/Foreman.
  • CDL with Tanker Endorsement is a plus.
Education/Training:
  • High school or equivalent. Construction Experience: 1 year. 
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand for 10 hours a day
  • Able to lift 80+ pounds
  • Able to work in the elements (heat, cold, rain)
  • Temp-Perm experience or R & M experience (Repair and Maintenance) a plus
  • Trenching experience a plus
     
Compensation: $18-23/hr
