Purpose:
The job of a traffic control technician is to assist with ensuring pedestrians and automobiles do not interfere with a construction project. As a TC laborer, your duties are to assist in directing or diverting pedestrian and vehicle traffic to ensure the safety of the workers and traveling public in the work zone.
Responsibilities:
- Your responsibilities include placing temporary traffic control devices such as sign stands, barricades and delineators as needed to cover scope of work being performed by contractor.
- Assisting in setting up proper Lane closures, Flagging/ Shift set ups, Road closures all per M.U.T.C.D standards or Approved TC plan.
- Work is performed outdoors at construction sites (various locations).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience
- Class C driver's license
Compensation: $18/hr
